What’s the Deal With Those Glowing Construction Balloons?

I have started seeing these within the last couple of years. I love them every time.

They are metal-halide (not to be confused with halogen) lamps that inflate via a fan as soon as you power them on.

Multiquip is one such brand and POWERMOON is another.
